Return & Refund Policy

Every CGATP tag is custom-manufactured to your specifications. Because each order is made to order, our policy is built around making it right when we make a mistake, while protecting us from costs we can't recover on custom work.
Custom orders are non-returnable
All tags are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has started, except as described below. This includes orders cancelled by the customer after production begins, orders with customer errors in spelling, numbering, artwork, size, quantity, or material selection, and orders rejected for reasons unrelated to the product as manufactured.
When we'll reprint or refund
We will, at our option, reprint or refund the affected tags if:
- The tags do not match the approved order specs (wrong text, wrong size, wrong quantity caused by us).
- There is a clear manufacturing defect (etching illegibility, structural defect in the metal).
- The shipment is verifiably lost in transit (carrier confirmation required).
To qualify, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We may require return of the affected tags before issuing a reprint or refund; if so, we'll cover return shipping.
What is not covered
- Typos, wrong numbers, or artwork issues in content you submitted or approved.
- Choice of size, finish, hole pattern, or adhesive that didn't fit your application.
- Damage caused by installation, misuse, chemical exposure beyond product spec, or modification.
- Color variation in printed/anodized accents within normal manufacturing tolerance.
- Cosmetic variation in the stainless surface within normal manufacturing tolerance.
- Carrier delays, weather delays, or delivery to an address provided incorrectly by the customer.
Order changes and cancellations
You may request a change or cancellation by email before production begins. Once production starts — typically within 24 hours of order or proof approval — the order cannot be cancelled and is billed in full.
Proofs and approvals
When we provide a digital proof, your written approval authorizes production exactly as shown. Errors present on an approved proof are the customer's responsibility.
Shipping issues
Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier accepts the package. For damage in transit, save all packaging and contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can help file a carrier claim. Reshipment is at our discretion once the claim outcome is known.
Refund method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the issue was caused by us.
How to start a claim
Email us via the contact page with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. We respond within 2 business days.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
